Therapy is a collaborative process. Together, we work to better understand challenges, build on strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and foster meaningful, lasting change across home, school, work, and relationships.

consulting
parent consultation
Parents play an important role in their child’s growth and success. Parent consultation provides practical guidance and evidence-based strategies to help families better understand their child’s needs, strengthen communication, establish consistent routines, and address behavioral and emotional challenges. Together, we develop individualized approaches that support confidence, independence, and lasting success at home.

collaboration with other professionals
With your written permission, I collaborate with pediatricians, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, psychiatrists, educators, and other professionals to promote coordinated care and consistent communication. This collaborative approach helps ensure that recommendations are aligned across home, school, and treatment settings to best support each client’s needs.

educational support

executive functioning support
Executive functioning skills are essential for success at school, work, and home. I help children, adolescents, college students, and adults strengthen skills such as organization, planning, time management, task initiation, working memory, and self-monitoring. Together, we develop practical, individualized strategies that foster confidence, independence, and success in everyday life.

school placement consultation
Selecting the right educational setting is an important decision. I work collaboratively with families to evaluate educational options, review recommendations, and identify a placement that best supports each child’s unique strengths, needs, and long-term success. When appropriate, I can also attend school visits or meetings to provide additional support throughout the decision-making process.

support at school meetings
Whether you are preparing for a routine teacher conference or a more complex IEP or 504 meeting, I provide consultation and support throughout the process. When appropriate, I can attend meetings to help families communicate concerns, understand recommendations, and collaborate effectively with the school team. My goal is to ensure that each child’s strengths, needs, and educational goals are clearly understood and addressed.
review of NJ school practices
I am available to review educational plans and accompany parents on school visits to assess the suitability of various programs and schools for their children. I aim to help parents identify a placement that aligns with their child’s unique needs and interests, fostering their academic success and personal growth.

school observations
School observations provide valuable insight into how a child functions in the classroom, interacts with peers, responds to instruction, and manages daily academic and social demands. These observations help identify strengths, areas of need, and practical recommendations to support success across educational settings.

evaluation review
Evaluations can feel overwhelming, making it difficult to know how best to use the results. My goal is to help families understand the findings, answer questions, and identify practical recommendations that support their child’s success. Together, we review the evaluation and discuss how the recommendations can be effectively applied at home, at school, and during treatment.
